"Basks In The Heat Of His Readers' Fury"
To the Editor or The Evening Sun—-Sir: The title given to the esteemed Mr. Mencken's article, Sound and Fury, is very appropriate. Mr. Mencken makes all the noise and the arrogant manner in which the article was written incites the fury of the readers.
The embellishment of facts by Mr. Mencken makes it grotesque and childish. These columns are apparently the efforts of a fanatic who basks in the heat of the readers fury. William I. Koblhepp.
