Probe Of Salisbury Lynching Suspended [Special Dispatch to The Evening Sun] Salisbury, Md., Dec. 16—An inquiry into the lynching of Matthew Williams, colored murderer, which was begun here yesterday by Attorney-General William Preston Lane, Jr., is expected to be resumed later in the week. Following Mr. Lane's departure late yesterday for Annapolis to attend a hearing on the Yuel Lee case before the Court of Appeals, the lynching investigation was suspended temporarily today.
