Attorney-General Will Resume Investigation Of Salisbury Lynching

W. Preston Lane, Jr., Attorney-General, will return to the Eastern Shore today to resume his investigation of the lynching of Matthew Williams, Negro, at Salisbury, Mr. Lane said last night after a conference here with Levin C. Bailey, State's Attorney for Wicimico county.
The Attorney-General and G. C. A. Anderson, Assistant Attorney-General, who accompanied Mr. Lane on his previous visit to Salisbury, expect to leave this morning, but Mr. Lane gave no indication last night as to the length of his stay on the Shore.
Mr. Bailey arrived in Baltimore yesterday morning and is expected to return to the Eastern Shore today. ,
Said To Have Given Data At a conference between Mr. Lane and Mr. Bailey earlier in the day, the Eastern Shore official is understood to have submitted some information in connection with his investigation of the lynching, which occurred December 3.
After spending two days at Salisbury, the Attorney-General interrupted his inquiry to attend the Court of Appeals hearing on the Yuel Lee
