By Associated Press. SALISBCJRK, Md„ March 17.— The Wicomico county grand jury today heard a dozen more witnesses in its investigation of the lynching of Matthew Williams, negro, after the killing of his employer, Daniel J. Elliott, and prepared to recall several of those already questioned.
Attorney General W. Preston Lane, Jr., assisting State's Attorney Levin C. Bailey in the inquiry. said at the close of the morning session of the jury that some of those who have testified would be heard again, but did not amplify his statement. He did not give any reason for the action. . State's Attorney Bailey said yesterday that he expected to have the parade of more than 120 witnesses into the juryroom completed today. The dozen heard at today's pte-luncheon session brought to !)5 the number questioned.
