Deoember 18th 1931. Lira. Anna L. Jackson, 1734 Fontain Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dear Madera - I reeeived your favor of December 16th. The Maryland state authorities are doing everything the'; can be done to apprehend the perpetrators of the Illiama lynching. I enclose you editorial from the Baltimore Sun of Deoember 11th, reviewinc the steps I have taken, and also copy of my statemont on the subject which appeared in the Sun on Deoember Gth.
