The version of the collection linked here was created for the Portland Rhode Island Public Library for which they paid the Maryland State Archives $60 a reel to scan and place on line with an accompanying inventory that provided links to ebooks and pdfs of the images. ECP purchased the domain names rj5site.org and rj5site.net which were intended to accesss these images on the Maryland State Archives servers. For example:

The Rhode Island Public Library has discontinued providing access to these images from microfilm and instead has scanned the originals the images of which they have placed online.

The index to the microfilm of the log books prepared by the PPL indicates two ships built in Baltimore, but that is yet to be verified:

CORINTHIAN (Built at Baltimore, MD in 1822; 503 tons) 175, reduced pdf, 176, reduced pdf

OHIO (Built at Baltimore, MD in 1830; 205 tons) 524, reduced pdf
