See notes relating to the Misses Cottringers who conducted a school for young ladies in Baltimore on Franklin Street and on North Eutaw. Charles Francis Adams was enamored of Anne/Cornelia, but the question with regard to Baltimore is how long they had a finishing school in the city and who attended as they were Roman Catholic.
